2007-2008 President's Message to the Club:
To My Fellow Wrentham Lions:

I am proud and excited to be your 67th club President but more importantly for being a part of the Wrentham Lions. Over the years you have taught me about; Lions International, our fight to prevent blindness, supporting the Town of Wrentham, being part of a group of men and women that wants “To Serve” the less fortunate, but mostly about creating bonds of friendship. (Thank you!)

We come into this year with our club growing and strong. Our goals for 2007/2008 are to continue in the same direction set forth by our past King Lions which have proven to be effective and successful and will ensure our future successes:

1. Continue to grow the club by Increasing Membership
2. Continue to increase our contributions to Lions International and The Town of Wrentham
3. Encourage increased participation of all members,
4. Continue to have fun (I know I will try!)

Do you recall the excitement you had as you were inducted into the club as the Lions insignia was being explained to you? Do you remember what you were thinking as you heard the story about the two Lions; one looking back and reflecting on our past accomplishments (congratulations!) and the other Lion looking forward to the future and the opportunities we have ahead of us. Do you remember how you were going to help make a difference? My question to all Lions; have you helped to contribute to Lions International, the Town of Wrentham, and/or to the club as you thought you were going to? If not, I ask you to make this the year the one in which you make a difference!

The Wrentham Lions Club is strong because we always have someone willing to step up and help. Fortunately, new members have played a very active and key role as they have eagerly become involved (Thank you!), but it is with all of our efforts that the club continues to look for new and different ways to make a difference as “We Serve” others.

I hope we can all find a way to make a difference while having fun as we continue to reach out and help others.
